Amy Chiou asks the question: How can we have better conversations around “taboo” topics?

On Friday, March 3rd at Warehouse 242, creative Charlotteans gathered by the hundreds to hear seasoned political advisor and Queen City Forward leader Amy Chiou tackle our global theme of “Taboo.” As she unpacked what makes certain topics taboo in our eyes, she also gave us specific tools for making such conversations easier to navigate. It was a vibrant morning full of laughter, perspective-shifting stories and new thought-provoking insights – just what we needed during these politically polarizing times.
