Amna Mawaz Khan

Amna has 2 decades of training and practice within the dance forms of Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Uday Shankar under the inimitable Ustad, Indu Mitha, the country's oldest dance exponent. Since 2007, she has been organizing with the Left in Pakistan. Amna aims to be a part of a rebirth of creativity and happiness in the mainstream narrative, and for this purpose incorporates politics and art in her work, both solo and groups she is a part of: Laal Hartaal, Women Democratic Front, and Awami Workers Party.
