Ama Koranteng-Kumi is also a faculty member at The School of Life in Antwerp where she facilitates classes on how to 'How to realize your potential’ and 'How to be resilient’. Her publications appeared among others in NRC Next, De Morgen, One World and Charlie Magazine.
In 2016, she completed a master’s degree in Gender Studies at the University of Utrecht with a study on active citizenship and informal support networks amongst women in the district Amsterdam Southeast. She lives alternately in Amsterdam and Antwerp. In 2016 Ama Koranteng-Kumi was nominated by Dutch women’s magazine for a VIVA400 award in the creative category.
Ama will share with us the holistic approach of Bloei & Groei, which goes beyond nature as a landscape, and interlinks the natural environment with women’s empowerment, personal wellbeing, and community resilience.
