Alyssa O'Toole

Alyssa O’Toole has dedicated her life to music and education, with 28 years as a pianist, 21 years as a piano teacher, 8 years as a mentor for other teachers, and 3 years as a studio growth consultant. She is the proud owner of Musicians Playground in downtown Boston, MA.

Alyssa's journey with Musicians Playground began from her deep love for music and teaching, and a belief in its profound benefits. She sees music as "exercise for the soul" and wanted to create a safe space for adult music hobbyists to rediscover their joy and care for their emotional well-being.

Musicians Playground is now known as the first-ever "gym for musicians," home to approximately 200 music lovers who enjoy the fun, social connection, and personal growth that music brings. The facility offers private and group classes for adult hobbyists in piano, voice & guitar, music-based team building events, and creative co-working space.

Alyssa and her team hope to expand Musicians Playground to multiple locations, aiming to share their vision with a broader audience in the coming years.

Beyond her work at Musicians Playground, Alyssa consults with over twenty studios worldwide, helping them grow their operations, find joy in business ownership, and make a significant impact on their communities.
