This talk, we’re featuring Nathan Sprehe and Sam Agusti-Nuernberger from Almanac, as well as David Lauber, Director of Development, Tower Grove Park.

Recently, Almanac and Tower Grove Park worked together to develop an Awareness and Membership Campaign for the park. We’ll sit down with them for a conversation on client/creative relations, creative process and strategy, and the nature of a successful project.

Speaker Bios

Nate Sprehe President & CEO, Almanac

As co-founder and President and CEO at Almanac, Nate leads the agency and picks up lightbulbs for the office. He has a 18-year track record of helping purpose-driven organizations crystalize their brands and leverage their digital experiences that create more connection, understanding and lasting social impact. If you’re working to make a positive difference in our cities and throughout our world, you should meet Nate.

Nate is involved with the creative community in St. Louis, participating in student portfolio reviews, the graphic design advisory board for St. Louis Community College and AIGA St. Louis. He’s also dad to Ada and Greta (ages 11 and 7), and remembers having free time to brew beer, run, and renovate historic homes.

Sam Agusti-Nuernberger Strategy Director, Almanac

Sam is driven by a desire to create a better, brighter St. Louis—so it not only thrives, but prospers for years to come. Sam leverages her 10-years of experience to set strategy for Almanac’s clients and ensure flawless delivery of branding, communications and digital projects. Sam is a Board Member of Gateway Housing First and holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Washington University in St. Louis.

David Lauber Tower Grove Park’s Director of Development has 22 years of experience as a fund development professional. He successfully managed multi-faceted development programs for a variety of arts, human service, and higher education institutions before joining Tower Grove Park in 2017. In his current role he sets and executes fundraising and marketing strategies to drive contributed income from individuals, foundations, corporations, and from events. He holds a B.S. in Business from Valparaiso University, and is a native of St. Louis where he resides with his husband Scott, two unruly pugs, and a less-than-amused cat in the City’s Compton Heights neighborhood.
