Al Snow to No Mo’ Snow: Exploring Cycle

Portal

part of a series on Cycle

About the speaker

Al Snow, born Allen Ray Sarven, is a professional wrestler, trainer, and owner of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). He gained mainstream fame in the WWE during the 1990s with his unique "Head" persona, where he carried a mannequin head to show his character's mental instability. Now, as head of OVW and through his passion for storytelling and mentorship, he's shaping the next generation of wrestling talent, emphasizing the importance of in-ring psychology, training, and character development. Leading the charge at OVW, Al Snow was heavily featured in the Netflix docuseries Wrestlers, giving the world an inside look at Al's work at OVW, the entrance of two new partial owners, Mayor Craig Greenburg and Matt Jones, and their regular broadcasts.

The Show Must Go On

A massive part of being creative is pivoting, failing, being in the struggle and hey it happens to everyone - even us. We’re bummed that Al Snow isn’t able to join us tomorrow but we’ll still be there with coffee, breakfast, and all the good vibes.

We’ll be hosting a special-edition interactive event so come ready to meet some new faces!

If you’ve been craving connection, networking, and opportunities to be creative, this event is for you. We will play with the theme Cycle in a unique and interactive way.

EXCHANGE TABLE: This month’s theme is CYCLE! We invite you to bring a small plant or propagation that you’re ready to part ways with. Drop it off at the Exchange Table before the talk begins. Afterwards, go pick up your new plant baby!

PARKING & ENTRY: The venue is in the Portland neighborhood, west of downtown. There is a parking lot with free parking as well as plenty of street parking. Please enter on Lytle Ave.
