Additional details
Ada Galeș is an actress at the Bucharest National Theatre, but her presence is not limited to the stage. She is drawn to projects that challenge, that create change, that ask questions without rushing to answer them. At times, she takes her curiosity beyond theatre, working as a speaker at conferences on society, culture, and women, or as a facilitator of conversations about how we live, how we see ourselves, and how we understand one another.
She received the UNITER Award for Best Debut in 2016 and performs both on the National Theatre stage and in other theatres across the country. In film, she has been part of the cast of productions such as The New Year That Never Came (dir. Bogdan Mureșanu), presented at the Venice Biennale, Interior Zero (dir. Eugen Jebeleanu), Perfect Strangers (dir. Octavian Strunilă), among others.
She believes that art, no matter how personal, always has a collective impact.
