Claire Christian

Claire Christian is a storyteller; a writer, theatre maker and facilitator. Her first novel, Beautiful Mess won the Text Publishing Text Prize in 2016 and was released in 2017. Her play Lysa and The Freeborn Dames debuted at La Boite in 2018 and is published by Playlab, along with three of her other theatre works. She has had the great joy of directing Michelle Law’s smash hit comedy Single Asian Female since 2017. Her second novel, a contemporary queer rom-com, It’s Been A Pleasure, Noni Blake was released in 2020, and released in North America, Europe, and the UK in 2021. Her latest novel West Side Honey, a contemporary rom-com was released in April. Claire has a pug named Midge, a deep affinity for garlic bread, and she never has boring hair…ever.
