Acceptance is a transformative and liberating mindset that opens doors to personal growth and harmonious relationships. It involves embracing oneself, others, and the circumstances of life with an open heart and mind.

About the speaker

Madiha is a digital inclusion evangelist. Currently she is working for the GSMA (a global organization unifying the mobile ecosystem to discover, develop and deliver innovation that helps businesses and societies thrive) and is spearheading growth of Mobile Money in Asia to reach the under-served.

With over a decade of leadership experience in business design, commercializing digital products and corporate innovation, Madiha has worked with & mentored over 700 tech-startups & trained 1,100 women micro-entrepreneurs on digital skills, in Pakistan. A strong proponent of Pakistan’s startup & digital ecosystem, she believes that entrepreneurs have the power to solve problems and create real business opportunities. She speaks regularly on the significance of entrepreneurship & innovation at various national & international conferences.

Prior to joining GSMA, she worked as Head Corporate Innovation at Telenor Pakistan, and led their accelerator program, Velocity, by recruiting tech start-ups, accelerating experimentation & piloting new technologies, developing a network of mentors, investors, and institutional partners, helping Telenor staying relevant in the digital & startup ecosystem. Additionally, Madiha was responsible to run design sprints for Telenor Pakistan, where complex business problems were solved using design thinking methodology, identifying opportunities and ideas leading to breakthrough solutions.
Madiha also co-founded DEMO, a consultation company, which focused on conducting entrepreneurship boot-camps & enterprise development.

A Fulbright scholarship awardee, Madiha has an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York.
