My si nevybíráme, co je naše vášeň, co nás baví, my jen objevujeme, co nás baví a když máme štěstí, máme šanci to prohloubit a jdeme si za tím.

Nápad je v nějakém ohledu externí.

Kreativita jako taková je princip života, součást života, opak ustrnutí a uzavření se.

Často mám strach něco sdílet, ale přesto to děláme, protože v tom vidíme smysl.

Kdybych nemeditoval, tak chlastám.

Nikdo nás neučí, jak se starat o svoji duši a některým úzkostem se vyhnout.

Každý čtvrtý v populaci si za život nějaké duševní onemocnění prožije.

Když máte úzkost, další týden vás pronásleduje tzv. anticipační úzkost, kdy máte pocit, že vlna úzkosti může kdykoliv přijít znovu.

Without a purpose, things can seem bleak and meaningless. Purpose doesn't mean having to be the best. Purpose is a selfless reflection of our own experience.

We think of roots as where we come from... but really roots are the things that connect us to something that then fills us up and makes us our best selves.

It's a challenge worth undertaking because it's what leads to a city by the people and for the people. It's your neighbors and your friends and you creating the city around you. So much of your city for so long has been outside of the force of the people actually using it, people actually in this room. I want a city that reflects me. It reflects who I am, what I want. I want a city that is authentic to me. That starts and ends with food. It starts and ends with the people around us being in charge of the user experience.

I think you have to deliberately devise ways for people to connect. To give them permission to connect in ways that are different.

Part of the message I was trying to express in my show was, ok, these are our things that we grew up with that are precious to us, and you can't take them.

I just didn't ever see, you know, my face and myself reflected in anybody.

If you don’t see yourself represented correctly or with dignity...don’t wait – just make it.

Stand in your truth; Sometimes being afraid is a good thing, just put one foot in front of the other.

Not talking about money isolates us. It keeps power concentrated at the top. It perpetuates all kinds of pay gaps. It keeps people in debt and stressed about money instead of learning about solutions.

Curiosity is a tangent.

When I think of roots, I think of home. I think of the roots of who I am.

Who we are is really the perception of who we are from others.

How do I want to feel today?

The beauty of silence is that you can dream when you're awake.

Some valuable things that are lost in the fire of constant noise are the roots of original ideas. The long exploring thoughts that you can have when you are not interrupted, when the mind goes on long meandering journeys without a destination.
