Hi, I'm Victoria. I help startups and big companies thrive by building strong communities and culture.
My career began in advertising, where I worked with the brilliant people at Buzzman (Paris), Your Majesty (New York) and Mother (London).
In 2013, I joined Techstars to head up startup community development in Europe. A journey that led to my role of Director of Community and Culture at Second Home, and a steady diet of airport sightseeing and mentoring across Europe.
I enjoy working at the intersection between industries, ideas and people. With expertise at the convergence of startup and big company culture, I have the joy to work with exceptional people from places like the BBC, General Assembly, EY, Microsoft Ventures, Hyper Island, and the Victoria & Albert museum.
In my free time, I produce talks, workshops and exhibitions. I also run the London chapter of CreativeMornings, a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community taking place in 140+ cities globally.
I'm a proud adviser at Second Home, Top Forma and Corilla.

You should start projects because you feel like you are going to either explode, or vomit, or both. You’ve gotta have that kind of burning desire in your stomach to do it.
Surround yourself with like minded people, and good things really do tend to happen.
You have to develop your own rhythm.
Ethics is about listening to that still small voice within you that tells you what to do. It is not separate from what you do, it is the reason you do what you do.
We are teaching children how to be prepared for jobs that do not yet exist in fields that do not yet exist. That’s powerful work. And that powerful work that’s happening in your public schools is going to make our community that much better and that much stronger.

Seek out criticism.
Continually refine your craft through practice, repetition, love and mistakes.
Every morning I wake up and I sit in a little, private quiet corner before I start my day, and I think of things that I'm really grateful for because as a creative we have to stay strong in what we do and we have to stay strong in who we are. I think the biggest, most powerful form of doing that is gratitude.
Reality is subjective, but it is malleable. If you want to reshape it, you have to use your own hands.
