Keith Lane is a freelance visual journalist based in Washington, DC. Experience includes reporting on life near the front lines in Iraqi Kurdistan, the unrest in Egypt, life and art in post-earthquake Haiti, demining operations and public health issues in Cambodia and US politics. Lane is skilled at working alone or collaboratively to create engaging media content. Lane was awarded a grant from the Rory Peck Trust to complete a hostile environment-training course through TYR Solutions. Most recently he became a graduate of a Reporters Instructed in Saving Colleagues (RISC) course in battlefield medical response. He is a member of NPPA, FFR, and ASMP and holds credentials for the US Senate. He uses a Sony FS5, Canon 5D Markiii/Markii and iPhone for capturing visuals while supported by a Rode NGT4, Rode Videomic Pro and Olympus LS-10 for sound.
