Choose your heroes wisely because eventually you become them.

It is so easy to find inhumanity. It's not as easy to have somebody speak life into you. It's not as easy to get somebody to look at you and be like "I don't know you, I've never met you, but I absolutely guarantee you, you are magical."

In my writing, I prioritize my humanity and my willingness to show up as a human as more important than the medium itself. More important than the tools, the techniques, the medium, is choosing to show up as a human. As someone saying I don't have this all figured out, but here I am anyway.

If you wanna have a happy, successful, fulfilling, confident life, you HAVE TO commit yourself to take care of the people around you.

Haters gonna hate, but huggers are gonna hug.

Without self-awareness, you can't experience pleasure. Without candor, you can't express and obtain your needs. Without trust, you can't connect. Without failure, you can't learn. And without fun, the qualities of life are diminished.

Creatives, at your best, you wake us up. You lift our eyes and our collective consciousness to a horizon of hope.

The things that made you weird as a kid make you great today. But only if you put it in your work.

Haters gonna hate. Huggers gonna hug.

Fall back on the skills you learned in kindergarten. Use your scissors, play together, and question everything.

Play lies at the heart of creativity and innovation.

I realized that maybe if I stopped forcing myself into this grown-up sonnet and just did what I loved, I'd be happier.
