Have you seen the 2013 movie “Admission,” starring Paul Rudd and Tina Fey? Well, in the movie, Paul’s character refers to a student as an “autodidact,” which I find to be a fascinating word and perfectly describes how I acquire most of my knowledge about the design world. My polymathic nature stems from my curiosity in numerous unbounded and diverse subjects. Personally, when I’m not caring for my 30+ house plants or binging on another Netflix series, I enjoy coposition and character illustration using various mediums. While I still prefer the traditional pencil and paper over Procreate, I find joy in the challenge it presents. The top 3 of my many inspirations are Bob Ross, Dale Carnegie’s book How to Win Friends and Influence People, and the cast of Sesame Street.
