I have a well-established reputation for bringing the benefits of experience strategy and design thinking to leading corporate, government, and NGO clients around the globe. I have a long-term, proven track record of partnering with clients to design and implement practical strategies that work in the real world, not just in theory. I’ve had direct responsibility for training and launching the careers of more than 550 UX professionals, and I am committed to seeing them succeed in industry. I spent the first part of my career as an in-house UX professional at various organisations in Silicon Valley. Since 1995, I’ve built and led user experience consultancies in Australia. Since 2014, I’ve divided my time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Sydney, working with educational organisations, professional organisations, and public- and private- sector clients to provide mentoring and oversight and to develop and deliver courses, workshops, and career-changing programs. Over time, I have become increasingly focused on using UX design for social good and I apply much of my energy to this space.
