Dr. Steve Nash is the Department Chair & Curator of Archaeology and an archaeologist and historian of science who studies a wide range of subjects including dendrochronology (or tree-ring dating), the Mogollon archaeology of west-central New Mexico, and Russian gem-carving sculptures by Vasily Konovalenko. He has published numerous books and more than two dozen peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Nash earned his PhD at the University of Arizona, where he focused on Southwestern archaeology and tree-ring dating.
