Shawn is Career Discovery + Diversity Manager at the American Society of Landscape Architects in Washington, DC. He develops and manages the society’s efforts to increase awareness of landscape architecture as a career path to diverse student groups. He previously developed and directed Professional Practice Network (PPN) programs, provided counsel and support to members, and served as liaison for a variety of programs within ASLA and allied organizations. Shawn's experience as a Landscape Architect, Adjunct Professor, and Project Manager has also aided him in achieving a variety of success in both educational and design environments.
