From the corporate, agency, manufacturing and retail vantage points, I have managed brands and directed the launch of more than 300 products and product lines. I am passionate about unlocking the power within existing brands, and telling the compelling stories of new brands, through strategically selected pictures, imagery and words that reflect solid market insights, and convey meaning relevant to intended audiences. I work with consumer-facing companies to increase revenue and profitability by: clarifying strategic market positioning; sharpening focus on brand equity; improving efficacy of marketing communications; aligning company offerings to meet market demand; and identifying opportunity-rich areas for innovation. I currently serve as an industry advisor on innovation at UC Berkeley, and periodically lecture on trends in brand building.
