Olivier Drouin is the Director of Delivery in the Information Technology function at CN.

Mr. Drouin has over 17 years of experience in application delivery and 5 at CN.He has a proven track record in business process design, project management, and successfully implementing business transformation programs enabled by technology.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Application Management & Delivery, he is responsible to lead his team to deliver IT projects. He is also responsible for overseeing and directing the delivery of the project portfolio. He provides strategic direction and management to ensure the project portfolio is executed in a structured methodology to achieve business results. Scope of responsibility includes Governance, Project Management, Resource Management, Roadmap Planning and execution and portfolio management methodology.


•Responsible for tracking and adhering to capital and expense project budgets. •Puts in place IT Governance tools to develop and track project budgets •Assures all projects are initiated with appropriate Project Charter and Requirements documents. Assures scope and requirements are monitored and controlled throughout the project. •Identifies and mitigates or resolves project risks and issues. •Directs project staff toward achieving defined project objectives through clear communication of expectations, implementation and enforcement of standards, policies, procedures and methodology. •Provides consistent and clear feedback to team members on performance against goals and objectives. Assesses individual contributions and provides feedback to the team member’s manager for performance appraisal purposes. •Oversees responsibility for project activities •Ensures that his Delivery team is supplying the appropriate methodology, tools and support to the project teams. •Participates in the strategic direction of the IT department, ensuring business future needs are taken into account
