When I was little, all I wanted to do was grow up, get married and have kids. I did that. BIG time. When I hit my early 40's, I realized that maybe I hadn't known myself very well when I made those decisions. Ha! Don't get me wrong! I love being a mom. However, I've discovered that there's a whole lot MORE that I want to experience, learn, and do than I ever imagined. I'm on a mission to milk this next season of life for all it's worth!

Brene Brown's research. I'm kind of a walking/talking compilation of her books. She's taught me a whole lot about shame, courage, compassion, connection, daring greatly, rising strong and belonging. She's burned on my brain.

Social media... I've never mastered it.


As stated above, I'm a huge Brene Brown fan. I adore Anna Maria Horner, a textile designer, too many musicians to count, and women who create small businesses out of nothing.

I have serious spidey senses.... I can see, smell and hear things that many people miss. This is not always fun... especially the smelling.
