Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, and a Virginia Beach resident since age 16, I’ve embraced creativity and community throughout my life. My passion for photography began in childhood and has grown into a lifelong love of capturing the beauty of our beaches, mountains, and waterways. Beyond photography, I’m deeply committed to giving back—whether through organizing farmers' markets, supporting local art, or working with non-profits to provide food for those in need. At 50, I believe it’s never too late to chase dreams and make a difference.

Building community connections through farmers' markets, supporting local artists, and coordinating events that bring people together. I also have decades of experience in photography, creating vibrant, dreamlike images inspired by Virginia’s natural beauty.

Finding balance between my creative pursuits and my passion for community work, and sometimes simply asking for help when juggling many projects.

Why wait?" It reminded me that there’s no perfect time to chase a dream or make a difference—the moment to start is now.

I admire people who dedicate their lives to uplifting others—like my fellow community leaders and non-profit workers—because they inspire change and embody selflessness in ways that truly transform lives

Building authentic relationships. Whether through photography, markets, or giving back, I have a way of connecting with people and creating spaces where they feel valued and inspired.

Probably something in event planning or non-profit leadership. I love organizing, connecting with others, and making an impact, which are core to everything I do. Oh and my childhood dream was being a photographer for National Geographic

Be kind

If I had 5 minutes to teach someone something new, I would share the importance of mastering "mind over matter." Life is ever-changing, and every day offers a fresh start. I’d emphasize the power of shifting your perspective—your thoughts can shape your reality. Take a moment before reacting, and embrace the idea that challenges are temporary. It’s about finding the strength to pause, reflect, and approach life with resilience and intentionality.
