We are always searching for the most meaningful interactions between individuals and spaces, interactions that not only create a balanced harmony for the moment, but also create harmony for the future. I hope to design the processes & tools for ideas that reshape societies and cities for the future.
I received an MFA from the Graduate School of Transdisciplinary Design Strategies for Cities, Ecologies, and Systems within The New School. Through design strategies, creative research, and advocacy efforts, we can better understand and act within complex societies today. I aim to use design and research for ideas, arguments, & hopes that reshape societies towards a more equitable future. Areas of focus are design activism, advocacy, international community engagement, social resilience, and urban development.
I have worked to develop strategies and advocacy work with Maya Wiley, New York Department of Sanitation with Freshkills Park, Rotary International, World Vision, Slum Dwellers International, African Centre for Cities, Refugees International, Sightsavers, Storefront, Dolby, Oscar de la Renta, The Feast, Kimberly Clark, Kohler, Breville, Scientific American, Engadget, as well as various schools, nonprofits, and artist studios.
