In my life’s work, I have followed more than one career path, yet all the professions I practiced suited my personality and characteristics, and gave me a broad view of how the arts and culture are aligned. Although I grew up close to the earth in a rural home environment, with farm animals and a home-grown garden, my parents instilled in me a love of literature, music, fine arts and crafts. I currently teach sewing and textile classes at Art Center College of Design Pasadena, and recreational sewing classes at Remainders in Pasadena.
