I mostly admire 1: my wife and 2: the people around me that I see on a daily basis. #1 with my wife is she is my best supporter and gives me the advice that is honest and will have the most impact. #2 is I admire a lot of folks that I interact with whether it's at work or outside of work. I try to surround myself with smart, intelligent and hard-working folks that enjoy life and have a great sense of humor ;) I admire that and learn everyday from everyone which is also inspiring.
My smile ;) and the ability to not sweat the small stuff and focus on what matters. I also observe a lot and try to listen to people and what they have to say before I feel the need to speak. This I feel is my secret power ;)
Food and making people smile. Before really advancing in my design career years ago I used to work in the restaurant industry. I always had a passion for cooking, food and people. I see a lot of similarities in the art of cooking and the process that I do in Design.
Where I've started as a creative person and designer. I honestly never forget that. It's been a long journey where I've learned so much and have had ups and downs (including failures).
The value of being 'You' and to not change that. We need more people who are true to themselves in the field and bring their own unique sauce and creative process to the table. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.
Oh that's hard since there's so many but here's one of my favs. http://gph.is/1a7RlDR
