Co-founder & former host of CreativeMornings/Montréal. If we can't change the world, we'll at least make a dent. Spent ten years as a political strategist & diplomat, a.k.a typing monkey & professional handshaker. Sometimes does stüff just for the heck of bringing people together so that the cool people can meet all the cool people – for example, Fuckup Nights. Also member of the Board of Directors at Institut du Nouveau Monde, because civic engagement & citizen participation matter -- big time -- for this agnostic political omnivore. Also joined the Board of Travelling, a short film distribution joint based in Trois-Rivières that makes Québec's best short filmmakers shine around the world. And the Board of the Fondation du Centre des auteurs dramatiques, dedicated to supporting French-language playwrights in Canada. Speaking of plays, he gets on stage every year to raise funds for the Centre du Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui. Other philanthropic endeavours help support young business students through the Club des 100 at HEC Montréal and projects in Haïti. Originally a linguist with a dash of physics, still a polyglot, word-juggler & stickler for exactitude. We can speak French, English, Spanish, Portuguese or German, in any particular order, or draw Japanese & Arabic characters. Otherwise there's always music. But play fucking loud, seriously.

Playing is a serious game.
Self-censorship is always nearby. It's on the prowl. It's the devil on your shoulder.
It's only after creation that we must take a step back and look at what we've done.
It's better to be pissed off than to be bitter. Being pissed off is a form of energy. It can be channeled and transformed positively.
Playing, it's discipline. It's repetition. Repeating the same movement, the same action, the same reasoning so it becomes natural. So that it becomes part of us. So that we stop even thinking about it. It becomes like instinct but it's also like a game.
Cynthia Savard Saucier CONNECT: Am I as gullible as a chicken?
Now go ahead. Mingle. Connect. Combine. And go make Montréal this citizen platform!
Technology is giving a lot of power to the users rather than to large technology companies. In politics, it is the power of citizens that is taking shape.
Urbanization is changing our political behaviour.
We need more collaboration and less territoriality.
