For more than a decade, I’ve worked in the competitive, fast-paced world of fashion and beauty journalism and marketing. I reported front row and backstage at fashion weeks in New York, London and Paris. I've been writing for women's lifestyle websites such as ELLE, Good Housekeeping, Refinery29 and The Huffington Post. I’ve been working in beauty marketing for COTY and most recently for NARS. I have worked with celebrities, influencers, models and makeup artists. I’ve sat in boardrooms with high-powered beauty brand executives where we decided the fate of eye shadow pots, mascaras, lipsticks and products yet to be created.

I also spent some time in Bali: I completed my Hatha Yoga & Meditation 200RYT certification and I incorporate my mindfulness teaching into my marketing work – finding purpose, intuitive storytelling and enlightenment in the work I do.

I am the founder of Birds of Paradise, a little company dedicated to creating safe and nurturing moments of mindfulness via well-being focused events. I teach private and group yoga classes and host mindfulness workshops.

This combination of editorial and branded content experience makes me a marketer that understands the power of disruptive and edgy strategy and cultural trends, while still addressing business needs – mindfully.
