Gray Garmon is a Visiting Clinical Professor of Design and Innovation in the Caruth Institute for Engineering Education at the Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University. He has a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and has worked for architects Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Switzerland. Gray served in Peace Corps Ghana from 2007-2009 where he worked on various projects, including teaching, HIV/AIDS, empowering women, and building concrete latrines. Gray is an American Institute of Architects Henry Adams Medal Winner, and a University of Pennsylvania Social Impact Fellow.
Gray is a practicing designer in Dallas, TX, and leads a new public design initiative called Design Future Dallas
