Weinberger's previous roles further highlight his exceptional career. Notably, he served as a coordinating producer for NFL Total Access at the NFL Network in 2003, later earning a promotion to executive producer in 2006. In this capacity, he oversaw major shows such as Thursday Night Football and NFL Gameday & Redzone while managing talent, production staffing, and programming content. His leadership extended to supervising the coverage of prestigious events like Super Bowl Week, the NFL Scouting Combine, the NFL Red Carpet, and the NFL Draft.

Before his tenure at the NFL Network, Weinberger was a senior producer for Fox Sports' renowned program, Best Damn Sports Show Period. Additionally, he contributed his expertise to The Keith Olbermann Evening News from September 2000 to May 2001.

Following his impactful roles at Fox Sports and the NFL Network, Weinberger assumed the presidency of Bill Simmons Media Group, a prominent digital company, and served as an executive director at HBO. He spearheaded various operational aspects in these capacities, including budgeting, staffing, and content distribution. Weinberger's contributions extended to executive producing the Game of Thrones after-show, After The Thrones. Moreover, he successfully orchestrated a partnership between The Ringer and Twitter to create Talk The Thrones, a Game of Thrones after-show, in 2017.
