Generating ideas & taking notes will always tie for first. Also, I always find the perfect cards; I like to sticker my message on the inside, which may or may not resemble a ransom note at times. You can almost always count on me to come in at the 11th hour with a change prior to going to print as well. I usually come into the editing process at the end, so as the caboose, I form a lot of love-hate (nah, it's all love) relationships once I put on the fact / spell-check detective hat.
Marine biologist? Maybe! However, it's more likely that if the design path stops short, I would fall back on my love for writing. Copywriter is more up my alley.
