My passion is copywriting, whether I'm creating a tweet or putting together text for an e-marketing campaign. I love to work with people from lots of different backgrounds, finding out more about their areas of expertise and creating communications solutions that work for them. Along the way I've found out lots about topics I never new existed, like tribology (it's quite a big deal in engineering and manufacturing). On the side I like to dabble in lots of different crafts - from pottery to weaving. You name it, I've probably tried it. I love to be kept on my toes with new challenges!

In some ways, the Trump presidency represents a great opportunity for the media. Many people who were on the sidelines, who had grown apathetic about news media, are checking back in and realising the importance of a professional media.
My point is that for all the worry and fuss about fake news, the real worry isn't fake news -that's been around as long as real news. The internet and social media have rapidly expanded its reach. The real worry is the delegitimisation of real news as fake.
