Tracy DeTomasi, Head of Social Impact at Good People Collective, is an educator, speaker, and nationally recognized expert on domestic and sexual violence. With nearly 20 years of experience working with youth, adults, and families across the country who have experienced trauma, DeTomasi now works to prevent domestic and sexual violence by spreading a message of cultural change. She is frequently quoted in the media and has been featured on local and national news networks, including CNN. A sought-after facilitator and trainer, DeTomasi has worked with large and small corporations, government agencies, schools, and non-profit organizations. Her clients have included Uber, the U.S. Army, and Nashville’s Sexual Assault Center. DeTomasi guides individuals and teams on how they can make small changes that will have significant impact in shifting the culture and reducing gender-based violence. DeTomasi was tapped to be the executive director of NO MORE in 2017, a national organization dedicated to ending violence against women. Prior to this appointment, she served as Vice President of Domestic Violence Services for YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee where she helped create and launch AMEND Together, an innovative, primary prevention program that engages men and boys to end violence against women. She was the chief consultant on the highly acclaimed Spoken Cinema piece "We Are the Lions." The video was featured on Upworthy and garnered more than one million views. Tracy oversaw the operation of the largest domestic violence shelter in the state of Tennessee. DeTomasi is past president of the Nashville Coalition Against Domestic Violence, a member of the Advisory Committee for the Sexual Assault Center, and serves on the Metro Nashville’s Domestic Abuse Death Review Team.
