My name is Danielle Hairston, and I am a 26-year-old workaholic from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Writing is a sincere passion of mine that was first formed in a journalism course during my freshman year of high school. In 2012, I finished my bachelor's degree in Mass Communications-Journalism from the University of North Carolina-Pembroke. Then, I became an intern reporter for the No. 1 broadcast station in Charlotte, WSOC-TV. Later, I wrote and copy-edited for small-town newspapers across southeast North Carolina. Finally, I was introduced to the world of digital content marketing and public relations with a popular construction company in Charlotte, North Carolina. After building the company's online presence in only a few months, I was inspired to return to school to secure my Master's degree in Public Relations.
Since finishing graduate school in 2015, I have been fully immersed in digital public relations and content writing. I've had the pleasure of booking media outlets and writing broadcast and web content for brands such as Coca-Cola, H&R Block, Frito-Lay and Gerber Life. I've also been fortunate enough to intern for an Atlanta lifestyle PR firm, touching and elevating the brands of celebrities, such as reality star Christina Johnson, singer Demetria McKinney and many others. Today, I am inspiring people to travel the world with travel company Delta Vacations.
