I grew up in Connecticut and Virginia. Earned a B.A. in History at The University of Virginia and an M.S. in Mass Communications from The Adcenter at VCU, now known as the VCU Brandcenter.
So. Then I began my career at Ogilvy New York (2002 Agency of the Year) working with brands such as AT&T Wireless, Hershey, Miller Lite, Foster's, Six Flags, the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, Capri Sun, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, Tang, Balance Bar, Maxwell House, Yuban and Tassimo.
In 2007 I got scrappy and joined Merkley + Partners (formerly Merkley Newman Harty & Partners) in Manhattan's West Village, where I worked with companies such as Duncan Hines, Aunt Jemima Frozen, Mrs. Butterworth's, Log Cabin, Vlasic, Ferrero Rocher, Tic Tac, Nutella, Fuse TV, Cold-Eeze and all® laundry detergent.
From 2011 to 2013 I worked at R/GA -- named by Adweek as Digital Agency of the Decade 2000-2010 -- in the role of Associate Planning Director. While there I worked with brands such as Verizon (FiOS and Wireless), Capital One, Coca-Cola, McCormick and L'Oreal.
In September 2013 I moved with my wife, Brenna, and golden retriever, Fozzie, to Atlanta, GA, in the role of VP, Associate Planning Director for BBDO (the world's most awarded advertising agency). Now I enjoy working with brands such as the Georgia Lottery and ING (Voya), not to mention a completely new quality of life.
