Analuisa Alvarado is a Guatemalan artist (b. 1887) who graduated in 2014 from Savannah College of Art in Design, Savannah, Georgia with a BFA in Painting. She also holds a B.A. in Architecture from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She has exhibited her work in group exhibitions in Guatemala City, Guatemala, United States of America and Lacoste, France. She creates small and middle-sized oil paintings on wood or canvas. Her work currently explores the effects of color and structure as a response to her immediate surroundings. She focuses on consolidating culture associations with color in Western Culture with her own cultural heritage.
