In the 1980s after 3 very violent attacks, Chana Studley suffered severe PTSD experiencing years of debilitating anxiety and stress. “It was like my brain just blew a fuse and everything went quiet.” Following this remarkable transformation, she trained to be a counselor and has spent the last 30 years helping others recover from trauma, addictions, and mental illness. Chana has worked with all kinds of clients, adults, and children who want a deeper understanding of their own experience. Alongside her counseling career, Chana worked in Hollywood for 20 years creating special effects in major movies and gained an Academy Award as part of the team for the movie Babe. In the last few years, she has become a certified Life Coach, a World Health Organization Psychological First Responder and a Three Principles Practitioner. She is the co-founder of Three Principles Jerusalem and regularly speaks at conferences, universities and community events. Chana has recently turned all these experiences into a novel called The Myth of Low Self-Esteem and volunteers with Lone Soldiers and the Hatzalah Psychotrauma unit in Jerusalem.
