Since 2002, Anne has served as the Art Administrator for Capital One, where she leads the development and implementation of Capital One’s Corporate Art Program in their office spaces across North America. In this role, she is responsible for the purchase and ongoing management of a permanent collection of more than 7,000 pieces of artwork. She also oversees the installation of more than 70 Rotating Exhibitions annually in Capital One campuses and office buildings across the US and Canada. Anne is a member of the Associate of Professional Art Advisers and is the Immediate past president for Tricycle Gardens Board of Directors in Richmond, VA.
Prior to managing the Art Program, Anne spent five years as a Graphic Designer and Creative Team manager with Capital One’s Marketing Department. She worked as a freelance graphic artist and an art educator, teaching art classes in Henrico County and Richmond City Public schools and at the Visual Arts Center (when it was known as the Hand Workshop) in Richmond.
Anne earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts, with a Fine Arts/Painting Major and Communications Studies Minor, from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA and a Masters of Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. In her free time, Anne continues to pursue her passion for art through ceramics and photography and her passion for urban agriculture in her front yard garden in Richmond’s Carytown/Museum District. She teaches Hatha yoga and meditation through the Integral Yoga Center of Richmond.
