Amy King is a Community Builder, Work Futurist and Personal Brand Catalyst, whose passion is to help people, businesses and the environment thrive. She has over 20 years of advertising, marketing and organizational development experience in the private and nonprofit spaces, with an emphasis on sustainable practices and storytelling for impact.
In early 2018, Amy launched her dream business, GoodWork coworking at the 1808 building in South Dallas. Their building is designed to cultivate productivity, wellness and triple bottom line business, and it will soon be the first solar powered, WELL and LEED certified coworking space in the world.
Prior to her migration to Texas, she led the incubation and leadership development of 80 USGBC chapters for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
Amy’s career began in advertising for TV, print and radio production at two notable NY agencies, McCann-Erickson and Grey. She has worked with diverse artists and clients from Moby & Gwen Stefani, Missy Elliott, and Tom Petty to FDNY, L’Oreal Paris, Pantene, MasterCard, VH1 and HBO. Amy also helped launch and grow AFI & Discovery Channel’s SILVERDOCS Documentary Festival + Conference (now AFI Docs) in Washington, DC.
