I started Small Matters for rather selfish reasons. I just wanted to work with kind, brilliant people who care about what they do and work on interesting projects that matter - and that is creating beautifully designed places that offer radical hospitality and foster community. It’s an added bonus that I get to incorporate my passion and knack for storytelling, design, repurposing spaces and sourcing unique second-hand furniture. Prior to Small Matters, I\ was in NYC for four years working in events and marketing. When I returned from the Big Apple, I learnt a lot as General Manager of a social enterprise that helped developers activate spaces for new communities to flourish. As a 2019 alumni of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Corps, I'm working on how to embed sustainability and climate action in all that I do.
