I'm from East Vancouver, Canada. I'm a graduate of Royal Roads University, a contributing travel writer for the Vancouver Sun, and Huffington Post, as well as the Founder of both GoVoluntouring and Holidays for Humanity.
I'm an advocate for both mindful travel and wildlife conservation. In 2012, I was honoured to be named one of Vancouver's Top 40 Under 40; and in 2013, chosen as one of BC Business's Top 20 Innovators of the Year.
I sit as Chairman for the Eric C. Douglass Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies. I'm a board member for the Sandals Foundation (Sandals Resorts) in Canada, and a past board member of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association.
More importantly, I'll do anything I can to help protect wild places and everything that calls them home.
