What is CreativeMornings?

A free monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community, part of a global movement in 200+ cities. Each event features inspiring talks, networking, and community-building.

The Toronto chapter was founded in November 2011. To date, our physical and virtual stage has been graced by Entrepreneurs, Writers, Illustrators, Activists, Artists, Chefs, City Builders, Scientists, Designers, Librettists, Community Organizers and even an enchanted Poet Laureate.

Our guests have tasted moss appetizers, passed around fossilized dinosaur poo, rolled a dice to take a chance on where to sit, shared a truth or a dare and continue to get on the mic for YOUR TURN (an audience member’s chance to pitch the crowd for 30 seconds at the end of each talk).

We are proud of the gender parity reached in our speaker’s list, yet we still have work to do in creating a space for inclusivity.

We continue to strive to connect our audience with the yet-to-be heard voices that make Toronto beautiful and diverse.
