Next Sydney speaker
This month, CreativeMornings chapters all around the world will explore the topic of ‘Bravery’. Here in Sydney we’re extremely excited to be joined by Christiaan Van Vuuren, one half of the Van Vuuren Bros - the directing duo behind the ‘Bondi Hipsters’.
Christiaan’s path into the online spotlight has been in and of itself, Brave. He decided to move into filmmaking after being told he had tuberculosis and was quarantined to a hospital room for 6 months - where he and his brother Connor created a series of viral videos ‘The Fully Sick Rapper’.
So be courageous, tell your boss you’ll be joining us at CreativeMornings this Friday at Hub Sydney for a little dose of Bravery for Breakfast (Also free coffee and noms).
This event has been made possible by the folks at Streamtime. Without their generous support CreativeMornings wouldn’t be possible! Big thanks too for Tractor Design School for ongoing support and Hub Sydney for hosting this event!
Check out all the event details, and register here.

Speaker | Ian Haigh
Leader. Warrior. Genius. Ian Haigh is none of these things. However he is very friendly, and reasonably tall.
Ian has been enamoured with computers from an early age, and eventually figured out that people will pay him to press buttons in the correct order. After stints in the world of prepress and design in Wellington, London, and Amsterdam, Ian moved to Sydney and now makes videos for his small (but perfectly formed) agency, Ketchup.
He currently films with Canon dSLRs, and animates with After Effects and Cinema 4D. Ian is happiest when spending hours programming a computer to do something automatically that would’ve taken minutes to do by hand.
Ian is becoming more comfortable speaking in third person, and has recently started blow drying his hair.
Ketchup is a small company that uses film and animation to tell the stories of brands – and the people behind them.
We’re passionate about technology, beauty, and sandwiches. We blend all three of these ingredients to create videos for our clients that engage, inform, and excite.
If you’d like to know how to add Ketchup to your next project, we have arranged some words, pictures, and videos over here.
