April 22 Creative Mornings PKX featured Mike Teixeira & Duncan Craig who separately are leads at local creative firms Calypso Communication & Raka Creative, but who together are the founders of A Tiny Bit Huge.

What to do when a fiercely independent and vibrant yet hard to define art community needs a boost?

Enter A Tiny Bit Huge.  A campaign to raise visibility of Portsmouth NH as an arts and cultural center.

A Tiny Bit Huge comes complete with a full team of volunteer creatives and a plan to shine a spotlight on the artists that make up the incredible seacoast art scene.

You can support the cause by visiting their website at A Tiny Bit Huge and purchasing some cool swag but also by supporting and suggesting a local artist to feature.

It’s a bold, dare we say RISKY, move by A Tiny Bit Huge - but one we think is worth it. Look for video coming soon on the CreativeMornings PXK site

What is CreativeMornings PKX? Glad you asked.

It’s a free global morning lecture series for the creative community in Portsmouth & Kittery (PKX).

CreativeMornings is the brain child of Tina Roth Eisenberg of @swissmiss fame. She calls it a “TED for the rest of us.” Over 120 cities around the world are sharing their local creative talks on the CM website. PKX is only the second Creative Mornings in New England - the other being Boston - so we are trying represent the vibrant creative scene of the seacoast.

How does CreativeMornings PKX work? Let us explain.

Once a month on Friday mornings PKX will be featuring local creative people who have something to say. The talk is filmed and posted on our page to be shared around the globe.

It’s a casual lecture style at rotating venues around PKX (Portsmouth & Kittery). Tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance here - RSVP will be announced here at 9am the Monday before the talk.

Doors open at 8:30, coffee & mingling until 9am, speaker from 9-9:30, Q & A and closing 9:30-10. Be sure to follow us below and sign up for our newsletter to be informed when tickets become available.

Check out details of our first talk featuring pioneering local chef James Haller. Join us to introduce the Portsmouth Creative Community to over a 120 Cities around the globe.
