How to Give Proper Attribution

Attribution is gratitude. This is what we learned from Ryan Merkeley, the CEO of Creative Commons, in his Own Your Content interview. Giving credit where it’s due is the least you can do to thank someone for creating something and allowing you to use it. It’s these simple acts of courtesy that help make the internet a kinder and more thoughtful place.

In this week’s toolkit, you’ll learn how to give attribution if you use other artists’ work and how to find free, licensed work that you can use.
