The Vision for CreativeMornings
It’s been six years since Tina decided to host the very first CreativeMornings here in New York. A lot has changed over the years, but one thing has always remained the same: a really good talk with great coffee and a stellar breakfast.
Now that we have 112 chapters, we’ve started to think about what impact we might have on the world through our community. While the breakfast lecture series will always be the heart of what we do, we’re curious as to what can happen around it.
To spearhead this, we’ve started to think about what our vision for CreativeMornings might look like. Now, we don’t plan on having a multiple-paragraph mission statement full of buzzwords like most of the vision statements you’ve come across. Instead, we want a phrase that is less than eight words but that packs a serious punch!
We would love for the world to know what CreativeMornings is and what it stands for in a simple, clear and direct phrase - one that is heartfelt, honest and that states what the world could look like with a little more creativity in it.
Our current website statement reads like this:
“CreativeMornings is a breakfast lecture series for the creative community.”
In true CreativeMornings fashion, we would love to collaborate with the community to write this new statement. We would love for each of you to contribute to this effort. We would love to know what CreativeMornings means to you, and what you feel the mission should be, in eight words or less.
We’ve written a few statements of our own, but we understand the value of listening to the objective voice of the community. Of course, there will be a special something for anyone that contributes to the final statement.
