Meet Our Movement Illustrator: Hannah Webster
A monthly theme inspires new conversations and ideas that we otherwise wouldn’t think about. At our virtual events, speakers are invited to share a story around the theme and what it means to them. After a month, we are excited to see the talks and inspiration that are born out of the theme.
Given that these monthly illustrations are at events all around the world, it’s only right that we get to know the illustrator. It is a tradition at CreativeMornings to work with an artist in our community to create an illustration for the monthly theme.
CreativeMornings/Wellington chose April’s exploration of Movement, Hannah Webster created the accompanying illustration, and Mailchimp is presenting the theme.
We’re excited to share some of our favorite artworks created by Hannah!
About Hannah Webster
Hannah Webster is an Illustrator, Textile Designer and Screen Printer based in Te Whanganui-a-tara Wellington, New Zealand. Hannah loves the outdoors — walks in native bush, biking around the South Coast bays, or swimming in any body of water that’s warm enough. Her work is inspired by these experiences outside, and of the humble nature of the native forest around her with its subtle green tones and textures. It is hoped that by celebrating the beauty of native plants and encouraging conservation, we will build an appreciation for these precious forests and a desire to care for them into the future.
