Meet our LAYERS illustrator: Catherine Olivia Pearson

Each month, CreativeMornings has a different theme for the talks given at our local chapter events around the world. It is our tradition to work with an artist in our community to create an illustration for each monthly theme.

Our theme for February is LAYERS. It was chosen by our Lausanne chapter in Switzerland and illustrated by Catherine Olivia Pearson.

Catherine Pearson is a Swiss-Asian artist based in Lausanne. Her playful and vibrant style blends abstract backdrops and storytelling details, serving as a canvas for the imagination she has cultivated since her childhood.

Passionate about spreading joy and positivity through her creations, she believes illustration can transport you where words cannot.

Currently, Catherine is focusing on merging her mixed heritage into her art, adding a rich and personal touch to her ongoing creative exploration.

As an illustrator who works and play with numerous layers to create intricate and detailed artworks, she loved working with February’s theme, “LAYERS,” as she couldn’t have found a theme that better reflected her way of working.

You can see more of Catherine’s work on her site and follow her on Instagram @coliviapearson.
