The Georgia spring weather is turning out beautiful so far, so it’s fitting that our next theme is Nature. On May 29th, we welcome Hannah Palmer to speak. Hannah is a writer and urban designer obsessed with her hometown of Atlanta. Her award-winning book, Flight Path: A Search for Roots beneath the World’s Busiest Airport is part memoir, part cultural history of the New South, and Booklist called it “a passionate and gorgeously written reminder of why urban planning matters.”  Hannah works as a designer and community organizer on urban conservation projects. For the last two years, she has led Finding the Flint, a campaign to reveal and restore the lost headwaters of Georgia’s endangered Flint River.
